I recently changed my rear end fluid, thinking it would be the right thing to do at 57k, and i used expensive as all hell synthetic limited slip fluid from summit racing. I changed the fluid and havent seen posi since... Some people say i have to add the friction modifier from motorcraft? Other people say the synthetic fluid is too slippery for the rear?? Im not too sure, all my other cars ive never had a problem with.. If anyone knows if i should swap the fluid for regulaur fluid, or just add the friction modifier, let me know.. Thanks

i would say go with the regular rear end fluid. unless you have an eaton posi unit installed it has the carbon fiber clutches and needs a different type of oil.hope you get the posi back .
