Hello all im new to the forum this is my 1st post. So be nice to the noob. I have a 1995 GT and i plan on getting a new set of wheels and tires. My main concern is that they DO NOT RUB. The wheels i am getting are the cobra R's 17x9's in the front and 17x10.5's in the rear and | would like to now whick exact tires would be nice and meaty in the rear but not RUB AT ALL. Well they are going to be drag radials thinking either NITTO or BFGoodrich T/A's. So the bottom line is whick ones will fit properly. The car isnt dropped at all. i was thinking of dropping it like 1 1/2"'s. Than :banana:ks in advance.

We can help but you can also do a little searchy search. Look in the members ride section. I have posted numerous threads with pictures of my 315 BFG Drag Radials on my 10.5in wide wheel.

I have 285 Nitto's in the rear and if you hit a bump too hard it will rub.... so, I would just suggest getting something like 285's and just roll the fenders...

Are 275's anygood?

Only one so far i have found to have any grip is the Falken Ziek 512's. They gripped real nice with my stock VERT I had 275/40 with the factory tri stars on the rear. Thats a 8in wide rim perfect no buldge nothing. I did wear out the 255's up front due to cornering. I went to my guy that has some used tires and he had some 275/40 Cooper's WOW do not use those. They suck i put them on the back b/c they had a buldge. I have to do a brake stand before every drive to even get any grip on those things it sucks. They are such a hard compound. The falken's were great but only lasted about 20k with the fiance doing some massive brake stands. I would suggest those.
