I'm wanting to get rid of my Holley blue pump which I had to tear into to start with to get it to work lol but I want to get rid of it because it's SUPER LOUD! I want a pump that is quiet but one that will also be able to supply more fuel than I really need so I won't have to buy a new pump when I do future modifications. Any recommendations would be greatly appreciated.

The pumps are loud! But how its mounted could mean loud or really loud. Directly mounting the metal with out any absorption type material between the mounts causes the vibrations to resonate throughout the metal its mounted to. Maybe try rubber feet and some sort of backing material

Well I've got it mounted to the bottom of my fuel cell frame that I built under the car. It has no rubber or dampening on it. But I don't think that's the problem it doesn't make noise like its vibrating against metal it makes noises like its just LOUD as hell internally!!!!

And ttocs I would rather the fuel pump be quiet and the car strand me somewhere rather than listen to that damn thing hum back there everywhere I go LOL. My exhaust is plenty loud lol. I bet this damn fuel pump would drown out two big blocks running open headers LOL.

What's your set up and mods now?

What are your goals?

(Injector size x 8) x 0.8 = minimum pump requirements.

Mounting is key but some pumps are just damn loud

I didn't thoroughly read the thread but I know TREperformance has very quiet 255lph pump compared to a walboro. Now for external mounted pumps I can't comment lol.

Need some recommendations on lowering my car down some. As many of us know the stock ride height is pretty high. I want to lower the car but not have to deal with tire rub etc. Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Cameron

^ I agree that is by far the cheapest route but most of the time the cheapest isn't the best. I have heard cutting the springs make for a shitty ride. Insight on this please?
