Any body know how to remove the rubber return line that runs from the fuel rail to the Hardline by the passenger side firewall? I have it discode from the the rail, but the connector is different at the hard line, and it's a tight squeeze.

Thanks

I’d have to go look. My car isn’t at my house and I don’t see it often enough.

Cool thanks. I just messaged @white95 asking why there isn't a Fuel Systems specific section. Would be a great addition to the Tech section.

Hmm, now that I've looked at this picture looks like you pull the clip out by that tab... Problem is the feed side has that tab, and the one I need to disco looks like that tab broke off... I guess a 90 degree pick can be useful here.

I didn't answer because I am not good with modulars but it looks like the same as the pushrod. All you do is slide the white plastic clip out a bit and then twist/pull. I don't think it gets removed completely

there is a special tool for that
its not like the regular spring locks
it is actually on my cobra fuel line mounted to the line
it could have slid all the way down that cubby hole where the fuel lines come out

Yeah, I think that's what I have to do, but that triangular tab broke of the return line (don't even know when that happened, I never messed with that end) Looks like an 90 degree pick will work to get it loose.

RAU, that's for a different fuel connector. I have those in metal (Butterfly Knife contraption) and plastick like yours. Those work on the fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel rail connectors. Thanks for the help anyway ( I still love you maaaan). I think @ttocs is correct...
Thanks guys.

oh and on the spring retainer side there are 3-4 different versions of the release tools and I have them all because sometimes one works, sometimes the other... The best advice I can give is to put some oil in in first and push/twist in, then pull out.

what s puzzling to me is that tool was on the line that was at the bottom of the line
and the feed line has that same type of tool
I have spring lock tools for ac/ and fuel and transmissions but this particular one is a bit longer and
oddball size
