I was going by the line you showed sample

Ya might be right, if you use that tool on that end and slide it behind that triangular tab it would release it. The only problem I have is that tab is broken off the connector I need to take off. Sorry I mean no offense ya bastage...

Everybody is right... you get a car, you get a car, you get a car...

Boostr did you ever figure it out? Visually the rubber line you speak of under my hood it looks pretty bad. The outer layer is flaking off from what I assume is from age and heat. Would love to get mine changed as well as a safety item. As mentioned I wouldn’t want the thing to leak and catch fire.

Yep that's what it's all about. I'm not worried if it breaks, I'm running 6an SS Braided Teflon line from the rail to the tank to replace it. I just want the old line it out of the way.

Yeah, looks like i'm gonna have to use a 90 degree pick to get it off. I'll be working on it later today.

Well you were right @RAU03MACH Stupid why would Ford use 2 different connectors for the feed and return line. It was a job just to get the stupid tool on the hard line, had to use extra long needle nose plyers cause it's a tight squeeze, then use 2 angled picks to pull it up into the connector.
