I just replaced both the gears in my odometer ( the one that goes on the motor and the drive gear ), and drove it around the block twice and the odo never went up. I took it out again then, made sure it was thoroughly cleaned because the OEM gear literally disintegrated when I removed it, and it still hasn't moved after another couple miles drive. What gives?

So you replaced both the worm gear (on the motor) and the driven gear (the bigger wheel looking one)? When you replaced the worm gear, how did it fit on the motor? Is your speedometer working? If so, then the issue is with the motor. Either the motor is shot and will need to be replaced, or the worm gear is not installed properly on the motor (the motor shaft turns but the worm gear is loose, thus the shaft spins inside the worm gear OR the worm gear is installed too tight and the motor is stalling out).
