Greetings All. Gordon Here. I inherited a decent 97 Ford Mustang Base vehicle from my late wife. It has some minor interior issues (plus one major engine issue, but that's another forum) and wanted to get people's recommendations on the best aftermarket manufacturers for some specific interior parts (or original if available). In no particular order I need:

1. Driver's door panel insert (the old one just broke due to age). I am assuming that it would probably be best to replace both door inserts as a pair and I'm fine with that.
2. Console Armrest Inner Lid Trim Panel. I may be able to re-use the cushion top as it appears to be in okay condition but may need that also.
3. Truck gas lift struts.

Any assistance/direction on the best places to get quality replacement parts would be most appreciated.

Thank You for your time, Gordon

you can get the door pull cups off of ebay and they fit nice and tight. They still have the weak spot on the bottom but if you pull by the top of the cup and not hard it isn't an issue.

For the console armrest inner I am afraid you will probably be stuck at a junk yard or ebay used. I am not aware of anyone that makes one.

You’d think I would have recognized that. Brain-fart on my part, apologies.

The forums has a "Build up and projects" thread from the main forum menu. I encourage you to create a build thread! Its fun, its yours and we all get to watch your car evolve too. And I bet California has a ton of great backdrop locations for a photo shoots of your car. Anyhow welcome along!
