I want to know if the CTS reading from the cylinder head reads the same or lower with the addition of the head cooling mod.
Seems to be running the same 195° as before. On my dash gauge, that is. I haven’t hooked up the laptop yet.

Lost oil pressure a couple days ago, on the way home from work.

I was pretty sure it was the sending unit because the engine still ran normal and sounded fine. So I started searching the web for autometer sending unit failures. Apparently it’s common and autometer wants the sender to be remote mounted on race engines or high rpm engines. I do rpm all the time lol. So I remote mounted the new sender and it seems to be working like normal again.

Damn. Runs good. I need to look up your specs on the motor.

It’s a 2014 gen 1 f150 engine with mustang cams. I deleted the piston squirters, installed a 2018 intake, and hacked together my own long tubes made from the cheapest 2v long tubes you can get on eBay.

If that 1st run was off your tune, thats really good!

That’s all my tune, sort of. We weren’t tuning on the dyno, just making pulls. I had made some fuel table changes the day before and hadn’t been able to run it all the way up and make sure it was smooth. So those runs were just the Holley smoothing it’s own fuel table out.

I’m glad you invited me but I regret having to push my appointment up. Would’ve been awesome to have the cars together with James and Brandon for some after shenanigans. I’m going to make some changes and find a local dyno for some back up pulls.

Definitely would have been fun. We didn’t leave there until a little after 7 last night. My car was the last one on the rollers, after that we stood around talking cars and whatnot.
