I put one of those on mine several years ago. Nice looking but did have to file the "D" area to make it go on the shaft better. Also, find now it's a little "loose" on the material rotating while driving. Not bad, just letting you know.
I cleaned everything really good, then scuffed it with scotch brite and thinner. Cleaned it again, then etch primer, base and clear. What kind of prep work did you do on the engine and transmission before painting?
Look at the bright side, maybe it won't happen on yours. I just like my cover to be tight as a bull frogs butt in fly season.@weendoggy thats kind of a bummer, I was expecting some life out of this thing. And with manual steering, I am certain to tear this thing up.
Man, the 3rd pedal is still there right now. It’s got a bad throw out bearing though. I’m going auto so my wife can drive it, and maybe to help keep the future turbo spooled upTC?? What happened to the third pedal? Well I'm not surprised many are going the auto route because no human can shift faster than a well tuned AT.
Yeah man, it was pretty bad. It’s been rough since I got the car just never changed it till now.damn i'll say that wheel needed a replacement...lol...ive not seen one that bad....
This has been on my list for awhile, may have to do it after the solid steering shaft.LMR FR500 steering wheel

I think I’m going to paint the gauge surround grey to match the passenger airbag and see if it flows in to the two tone doors a little better.
