rotor rubbing distributor cap inside?

Started hearing a chirping sound recently thinking it was my belt and I really haven't been driving the car much at all the last month so i didn't worry about it thinking maybe it's just the belt. Yesterday went to fix the "belt" and started listening closer and it was coming from inside the distributor...so i shut the car off and pulled the cap off and you can see where the rotor was starting to melt the prongs away inside the cap itself (getting thinner and wider) so i got a new cap and rotor thinking I had nothing to lose and it's still rubbing of course. So it it possible for the shaft on the distriutor to be bent in anyway causing this issue? Any insight or help would be great. Thanks

I'm pretty sure you are "supposed too" apply dielectric grease to the rotor and contacts.

Also, what does your timing look like?

Are you SURE you are buying the correct rotor?

Just some ideas. Hope you get it sortted out mang. O0
