Looks sharp.

I have to say, now that I’ve driven the coupe and convertible SN95s, the convertible is waay more fun to drive. The coupe is more rigid and lighter, but the convertible is just more enjoyable.

Man your car is super clean! Not gonna lie that parts car looks pretty sick too. My vote would be to rebuild it, especially since there's sentimental value attached to it. Either way I'll be following your build for sure

Started swapping some parts including the FR500 wheels from the parts car to my convertible. I can’t wait to swap over the lowering kit to the convertible.

Definitely needs some low. You have a lot of work ahead of you but it will be worth it. When I got my Cobra I swapped all of the suspension over from the GT I had and replaced all of the bushings with poly ones except for the axle bushings which got new rubber ones.

You might consider replacing all of the suspension bushings while you have things apart. Also consider solid rack bushings from Maximum Motor sports.

Looking forward to the finished product.

My dad and I replaced all of the suspension bushings in my car over break and even though it's a fair bit of work I agree that it's 100 percent worth doing. I noticed a ton of random noises disappear when I drove it afterwards and the car felt generally more responsive. If you have it apart it's definitely worth doing.

Also I really love those rims. They look especially sick with your car being the color that it is. Keep it up!

Shoot me a PM and let me know how much you want for both. I might be interested.

Just now seen this. I’m out of town right now but I’ll see what I can do for ya when I get back.
