Getting ready to buy tires. Need to know what size will look good, that still has the right weight rating. NT555R in the rear is fine at 305/35-18. What size will look best in the front. Car is lowered with H&R supersports so its pretty low. Anyone have pics?

i say 255/35 will fit perfect... You can fit anywhere between 245-265 up front. Go with a 35 sidewall. Less sidewall looks better anyways.

275 will fit up front as well.

And agreed, less sidewall looks better. I have a 45 sidewall in the front and I hate it. I can't wait to switch to a 40 and lower the car another inch.

Well wait what size are the rims... Lol

I'm assuming they're by 9" since not many people would put a 10 up front.

275 will definitely rub. Maybe on a new edge u can pull it off with wider wheel wells. Im running 255/40/17, but gonna be going to 255/35/18. Same height.

That is not true. It will depend on the backspacing. Alot of people run 275s up front on their SNs without issues.

You might rub at full lock but you shouldn't encounter any major problems.

I have been running 275s in front for a little over a year no problem no damage, just a little scuffs on the sway bar. You should have no problem with them. :thumb:

i had 275/40/17 on my 17x9's up front and they never rubbed, ever with off-brand 2" drop coils [isos in]

+1 I'm running them upfront and they don't rub,

i use to run them till i used all the tread on the tires. just put my stock 245's back up front. but no they didint rub at all. the only issue was it would pull left and right because of the road.

yes. they are 18x9 and 18x10. I would like to stay in the 255 - 265 range in the front but to get discount tire to install them they have to have the right weight rating. all of the nitto 555 for the front to get the right aspect ratio the sidewall is too tall for the correct weight rating. the only reason i want to install the correct tires is for warranty. I can do the 255/40-18 in the front and the sidewalls will be almost identicle. but the weigh5t rating on this size isnt right for the 555. I would have to ge with a nitto Invo. This reveals my next conflict.... two different tire styles and tread patterns. so do I go with regular 555's up front and have a taller sidewall or with a different style of tire? the rear will stay 305/35R18. the 40 sidewall on a 305 looks too big. keep in mind my shit sits LOW.

the sidewall on the 305/35 is a little tall so I'd go with the 255/40 up front. I think a big sidewall in the rear and tiny up front would look silly, unless that's the look you want. Not sure what you're talking about with weight ratings but they'd be fine on your car.

in fact 265/40 would be an even better match but that might give you too much tire up front for your personal liking.

I have always ran a 265-35-18 up front and a 295-35-18 in the rear
