I had posted in the WTB section looking for a set of npi heads. I had this guy tell me he had some for sale and that the best way to talk would be WhatsApp. I stated that I didn’t have that and gave him my number. He then sent me two pics of one head. And the whole way he texted was really off, and he wasn’t sending me pics I asked for in detail. And he kept stating it was a great deal ($320) and I kindly declined and he kept insisting I buy the head and that it was a diamond in the rough... there was a bunch of red flags with this guy. And I’m posting this so no one else for sum odd reason buys anything from this douchebag. Here are the two pics he sent me, and the same pics I found on google.

how long has he been a member and how many posts? I had someone with 3 posts and a one week membership message me to say he had a great deal on the tail lights I had in the WTB section and gave a phone number. If he had included pics I might have responded but probably not.

That is the same guy that messaged me. Maybe he has a few he has parted out, maybe he is just going through car forum WTB message boards and then finding pics of other peoples stuff to say he has to sell. This is why we make you have 100 posts before you can post things for sale. You can try a reverse pic search to see if it goes to someone else, buy the heads or ignore him.

That guy has never posted even one time. I’d be curious to know if he’s legit or just a scammer myself.

And this is most definitely why we have a minimal post required as Scott said.

His area code suggested Colorado but his IP addresses said Dallas. Those pictures he stole were from 2011.

Scammer for sure. And glad I could point him out! Puts a bad rep for new members. But it was pretty obvious he was a scammer from the way he texted. I have the whole messages if anyone wants to see lol
