Ok so engine assembly has begun!

Here's the old nastiness

Some amateur cylinder honing.

Cleaned up and pistons installed and torqued.

Won't be much longer now!

This is where youll rotate the engine by hand a few hundered times and examine the bores for grooves. Some grooves are normal depending on the rings you used, like moly. You will want to look for deep groove or wide rubs, rubbing down the cross hatches from honing. Croos you T's and dot your I's here now

Thanks for the tip. I sat with a ratchet and spun it for 10-15 minutes and I didn't see anything weird going on.

New melling oil pump, head dowels, and head studs installed.

Head gaskets, heads, torqued to absolute perfection. These better not pop lol.

Even let my younger siblings help put the washers and nuts on the ARP studs. Lol
