Weather worked out pretty well, decided to repaint the cowl and wiper arms. A definite improvement, makes the rest of the car look worse, lol. The grills were no longer secured, so I used some 5 min epoxy to put em back on, hope they hold up well....

Wow, your clear coat is as bad as mine but the cowl looks great!

Any tips for getting it off in one piece? I would like to paint mine but keep hearing they shatter when you try to remove them.

Just gotta get your fingers under the seal that lays on the window and pop each one out, I thought it went fine, until the reinstall when I realized one was broken. I don't think I broke it, didn't see any spare parts, never felt like it broke, just each one popped out. I vacuumed out from under there too, wiped down what was a little dirty. Here's a pic for reference. I don't think I had seen anyone mention the 3 screws in the front of the piece, they're the plastic pop thru ones, they don't break, they just suck. kinda have to pry up on them with a screwdriver while turning then with a stubby philips. Plastic screw holes are circled in blue below. The pop-in tabs are circled in red. Hope that helps ya. The washer fluid boots pull off of each nozzle, just takes a little force.

That SEM trim paint is magic. I used it on my convertible trim and it worked awesome.

Thanks for the picture and explanation. I might go by the pull a part to "practice" on one first too.

Not a problem, I looked everywhere trying to find more info about where the locks were. Glad I can help. :)

I think their whole product line is pretty decent. I used their spray vinyl dye and it turned out real well. Did you use the sem "prep cleaner?"

Don't Sext and Drive.

No I did not, just the paint. I have also done my passenger airbag with their paint.
