Re: now i am pissed!!!

well i went to put my fluid dampner on and started torquing it down but didn't know how to keep the motor from rotating except for holding the cams guess what happened yeah that right my cam slipped now i am pissed and don't think that this is going to work it just mean the it will slip in the future when engine tourque is applied

Re: now i am pissed!!!

i doubt the cams would ever have that amount of tq or pressure on them to make the cam gear slip. You used the cam to brace the entire rotating assembly... How bad did it slip? Are you gonna have to break it down again and degree them again?

I don't think that gear would ever move on regular engine use. Otherwise MPH wouldn't do it on their 700hp KB cars.

What did you tq it too? I would definately tq it alittle extra since you altered the keyway and use locktite.
