Ol red had 192k before I did the motor build. She was hit and killed at like 220 or so.

OP, I hope you're ready to do the head gaskets!

I think I got around 146k on my 04 gt. My brother's 02 v-6 tho is over 230k, few leaks and idle issues but all in all she still runs good.

Awesome! I'll be happy if my 95 Cobra makes it to 238k!

That sucks Ol red got taken out :(

Even thought it's just a car, I'd be pretty sad if something happened to the v6. Shes old and slow but being bright atlantic blue sort of makes up for any deficiencies. As for the head gaskets, I'll have figure that out when the issue arises!

The V6 is really tough, the biggest problem is the head gaskets, and that's something I wouldn't wait for it to go wrong on, because you could end up with a lot more problems at a much less convenient time than if you just do it lol.

But show us pics! I love BAB

I'll have to look into it more then. I've never replaced head gaskets before but I might be able to get help from people at work with more mechanical abilities. Here are a couple of the more recent pics I have

And how it currently looks with some Mach 1 wheels I scored on Craigslist

ooooo sooo pretty! And yea, it's something you can do in an afternoon. Really not a bad job, I advise (if it's stock) just getting another set of heads well in advance, possibly porting them (if you wanted a little extra power) or just putting back together stock
