side exhaust

ok maybe im searching the wrong websites, but i cant find a borla or a steeda side exhaust for a 1997 gt, i didnt bother searching for the roush ones cause i dont like the looks of those, does anyone know of where i could find a borla side exhaust, i looked on american muscle but they only have them for 99 and up, but for the pictures they show the side exhaust on the sn95 not the new edge, where can i find some to fit our cars?

Man im not familiar with the side kits, to be honest I have never liked the side kits . My cobra had one when I first got it and it was taken off the next week.

So you're ditching the flows, getting a real exhaust welded in like SLP and out the side through the skirts?

Have you ever heard single chambered flows? Because the are made by Flowmaster, and god forbid you would go with another brand, but they sound similar to SLP/Borla/Spintech. :hammer:

Good luck!!  I have looked for about 2 years!!  I finally drew me up a set and had my tips made by Stainless Works.  They are separate form my rockers panels.  Like what the old Boss 302 had, I think.  I found the side pipe covers from ABC Exclusive after I had them done. 

I have seen a set of Ford Racing side exit exhaust in a 5.0Resto catalog.  When I went to look on their site I could not find them though.  I then went to Ford Racing, turned up blank on that one too.  Like I said, good luck!!  I want to buy those side pipe covers for my next system though!! 

I have a 5.0 so I have a harder search, too!!!

i think they look awesome on our cars, i cant find a system by borla for the 4.6 sn-95, i already found the rocker panel cover, but unfortunately it doesnt have the SVO on it, this sucks, why would they stop making them :nonono: :slap: :lame:

steeda makes a side exhaust for 99+ gt's, but on american muscle it shows it on sn-95's as the customers rides who bought it. Anyone know if it will actually bolt up to my 97gt, what modifications have to be done to it, etc..... any help would be greatly appreciated

you can do subframes. spintech makes subframes specifically for side exit cars.

and the borla kit is proven to outflow a flowie catback.

side exhaust dont even look that good and to spend that much to hinder performance seem really :lame:
