So I started this build April of 2025, since then I have essentially built my 347 twice all due to “not knowing”, but it is the best way for me to learn. I originally built it with too small of a cam, intake, fuel pump, injectors, fuel lines… etc. I ran a 12.3 1/4 mile to give you an idea.
The second time around is a different story. Box R intake, twin Precision 69/73 turbos, dual 455 walboros, 2200cc injectors.. on just gate pressure of 5 lbs it ran a 10.5, massive improvement, that was with about 600 rwhp according to a Mustang Dyno.
Dialed it up a bit to 9lbs and found another mistake… valve springs were too light for this new cam. But still managed to hit a 10.3…
Now I have new springs in and ready to let her loose! Targeting about 20lbs and hoping for low 9s and end goal of 8.5. HP goal of 1000rwhp.
Any tips and tricks are appreciated. I will add the build sheet later.
