Has anyone ever run into any problems as far as the computer throwing codes when you remove these on a 95 GT? I have been thinking about taking it off of my car, but if it is going to throw any codes or run rough then I'm not going to. I know on my 88 GT it ran fine without it and didn't throw codes, but it was also speed density and had a different computer than the 94 and 95's i think. Any info would help. Thanks guys

I removed the smog pump and egr from my car. I got a CE light from the egr, but I just glued a wire nut to the plunger portion of the sensor to fool the computer.

You can bypass and remove the smog equipment without causing any problems. while you are at it. go to a hardware store and pick up teo 5/8" bolts approximately 1" long, you can screw these into the back of the head to eliminated the smog tube that runs between the two. simply disconnecting it is not enough. you must close up these holes!

Hope this helps
