Yes we need a thread for this, same with Exterior and I will start it, post up your mix of interior looks and mods for future reference for other enthusists Here's the 2001+ Park Brake Boot in my Cobra Autometer Instrument Cluster Bezel (Yes, I have black ones because they are from my old GT) Brake Boot and Autometer Instrument Cluster Bezel
That stock shift knob=suxor. It got really humid here in kansas last week and during a shift the threads that hold it together all busted and the leather came off in my hand. Underneath it is a shitty piece of plastic with the shift pattern on it (looks like a CHEAP pre-1990s honda knob.) My friend had his stock 03 cobra shifter sitting around and even though it has the 6 speed pattern on it, feels 10x better and looks 10x better than the stock one. I'll try to get some pics because I think it looks great. It's also bigger.
Nice Cobra! :thumb: Here's my stuff: Tri-Ax wrapped in Cobra leather boot, surrounded by Steeda aluminum ring. Cobra leather shift knob. i am going to do some work to the interior this week. I am putting in a new cd player. Then i am going to put the ac controls at the bottom slot possibly, then the cd player in the center and have 3 2 1/16 gauges in the top slot. Going with autometer phantom II's. Ill see if i can get some pics up when i get around to doing it which should be tomorrow.
I like those gauges there, where did u get that bracket to hold them? Did u make it your self, if so, how? I've wanted to do that for a while in my car, that's the only way I'll be getting a new radio. I can't stand the thought of an empty hole, or some lil shelf there for some reason. That and I'm not a huge fan of the A-pillar gauges. There is nothing wrong with them, they look nice, function well, its just I see too many cars with um. Under the radio is not as convenient, but looks nicer in my opinion. Besides, with a bolt on car, all the gauges I NEED are already on the dash. Extra ones are just cause I like um.
I've got to get a new player too, my damn mach 460 has been screwed up for a while now. 90% of the time it wont eject the cd and I have to keep hitting the eject button and turning the power on and off to get it to come out.
Get a new stereo Nice work I really like the leather shift/ebrake boots I hope to get those sometime down the road.
