hi all this is my first post. im 18 and have a white 96gt vert w/black top. its a 5sp and i have a mac catback. i recently bought 18" chrome y2k cobra r's and now im waiting for tires (= i need to get a new job).
do you guys have pictures of white sn95's with chrome y2k's? ive seen a few with silver but id like to see chromes. i know i could photoshop but it just doesnt look right.

i plan on going with this exterior setup.

    18" chrome y2k's
    lowered idk how much yet
    cobra front with lip
    cobra r/cowl hood
saleen side skirts with door caps
    saleen rear with letters shaved
saleen style taillights with black trim
black headlights, not covers but black insides
    saleen s281 wing
    tinted windows

if i ever get the money i might paint all of this black with 18" chrome bullits
    what do you guys think?

    Re: White SN95's

You mean smoked headlamps? Sounds like it should be pretty sick when its done, are you going with a light/roll bar, those look real nice. I'd buy one if I had a vert. Welcome to the site btw.

yeah whatever you want to call them. ive seen them called cobra style too. i made a custom set for my old accord. the inside is chrome and black everywhere else but the lens is clear.

i forgot about the lightbar. that and probably a custom roll bar that goes around it. and also sequential turn signals.

    thanks for the welcome

anyone got pics of white sn95 verts with chrome y2k's?

The roll bar isn't worth it unless you're dumping 10k+ into the motor and then you're required to have it at the track if you break 12 sec's I think. I have the cobra style and they are different than the smoked ones. Here's a link to the two different styles:

yeah id get the ones you have. the roll bar isnt really for drag racing. just the safety incase of a rollover on the street

I have clear cobras and I love 'em, here's an old ass pic of me off-roading, but you can see the headlamps from a different angle.

On the headlights, I went clear with black inner housing.
I like it better than the chrome inner housing.

yes they would. But I got my wheels and tires for $300 off a friend, I'm too broke to be able to dump more than $500 into my car at a time. Every time I try buying a visual mod for my car I end up getting a performance one instead. As an example, last mod I did: instead of getting a saleen bumper for my car I got 4:10's. My latest visual thing was the a/f and trans temp gauges, and they look sick.
