So what do you think of this janky exhaust?

I bought this car a couple of weeks ago. Previous owner said he had redone the exhaust. Sounds great! :)

However, after dragging on the ground, I got under the car and noticed that the entire system seems to hang too low. One of the hangers is broken and the brackets don't even reach. Not sure if I did this by banging something with the brackets underneath or what.

I was going to take it to an exhaust shop and have them re-do it properly.

What do you think base on what you see? Is this salvagable?

That is crazy low!
A competent exhaust shop can definitely fix it. Your pipes are all still useable, just need to be cut/bent/rewelded in a couple spots. I would probably put a couple better hangers in there too. That’s likely why those rubbers broke, because the pipes were hanging too low and pulling them down.

Looks like that mid-section needs help. Shouldn’t be a big deal at the muffler shop. Keep us posted!
