Hey guys, my names Tyler, im 23 from NJ. I'll be new to the mustang world, but I'm not a stranger to the car world. I've had a Neon SRT-4, 92 Nissan 240sx, and currently have a Volkswagen B6 passat with some goodies. I will be purchasing a mustang within the next month or so, I believe it is a 96 GT that is mostly stock. This car means more to me than any car I've owned in my life, it.belonged to one of my best friends who passed away a little more than 3 and a half years ago (been sitting ever since) my friend bought this car and had huge plans for it, however he only had about 1 season to enjoy it before he discovered that he had a heart condition that would end up lodging him in the hospital. It is so important to me to fulfill and exceed his expectations for this car and I look forward to using this site to learn about this platform, as well as post my progress.

I can try to add some today, my cars always looked pretty stock for the most part. My 240sx had a beautiful engine bay, unfortunately I cant take the credit for all of the work done under the hood on that.

tribute builds are always the best. So much meaning behind it. Usually, i see tribute builds of fathers or sons, but of a best friend? This is my first. Either way, I will be looking forward to seeing this. And i am with Ferocious, i would like to see your other cars, especially that SX. My girlfriend and lots of friends have the s30 chassis, so i am always around Datsuns and Nissans.

I'll keep trying to find some good pictures, but for now here is one of my old SRT and his mustang together. Probably about 4 1/2 years ago

Well, it turns out that at the time my friends mother was just not ready to part with the car. Years went by, I moved and somewhat lost touch with the family.... however, as fate would have it, yesterday as I decided to search for a new project car more than 2 and a half years later, I strolled into a used car dealership near my house. Noticed a 97 GT on the lot that immediately caught my eye. I started going over the car and noticed the glue from previous stickers leftover in oddly familiar locations... I knew then that this was my friends car!! I confirmed with the dealer who turned out to be a close friend of the family and I ended up buying the car!!! I am now the proud owner, and I am looking forward to building a pretty sweet car!
