I don't know off the top of my head its been so long since I swapped mine. You can put the car in neutral, jack up the rear, and turn the driveshaft by hand and count how many rotations it takes to make ONE full revolution of the tires. That way you'll be postive if you don't know if the car was modded. If you car is an Auto or 5speed makes a difference as well. It should be a black 20 tooth.here is a list 1990-1998 - 3.27:1(21), 3.55:1(23), 3.73:1(23*), 4.10:1(23*).*23 tooth gear can be used but is not completely accurate.
