I’ve noticed when washing my car, water will run out from the trunk weeks after. A little bit will come out when I open the trunk, a little when I drive, some will come out when I close the trunk. So my question is, is where the spoiler is mounted on the deck lid, is that supposed to be sealed, or is it supposed to allow water in so it can then drain out? Thanks.

it mounts from the bottom with 4 screws. Iirc there is a thin rubber gasket that goes between it and the trunk lid. There are a few different ways you could go about making sure it is sealed from getting some rubber mat and cutting your own or a dab of rtv would work as well

Another way is double sided tape
3m just thick enough to make a seal
Remove your spoiler
Install your tape then reinstall the spoiler
I had this problem before now not so much

Small dab off butyl rope. Just make a thin ring, and loop it around the stud and then bolt the spoiler down.

I wouldn't use RTV. Might take some paint off if you ever need to pull the spoiler off again
