95 GT. Does this sound like a solenoid not disengaging or a more serious starter problem. I mean the starter is only 30 years old. Maybe a new starter is needed or I can just replace the solenoid.

Update. I tried uploading a sound file in video but didn’t work. Admin can delete post.

sounds like it isn't disengaging but I am not the motor expert and would wait for blak or iwarrior to find out for sure. I know that technical taps with a wrench/screwdriver/small hammer on the starter can help to clear out debris and sometimes fix this. There are often marks already on the remanned starters when you get them from techs "tapping" on them.

Run it longer than that brother if possible... It isn't stalling out on it's own right?!?... Practically sounds like a belt or tensioner BUT it was so quick the video... Starter sounds STRONG to me, unless the BENDIX is hanging... Give it a little REV if possible after cranking... Noises like that speak volumes when you do, BUT if the starter is getting hung don't run it and replace the starter!!!... Examine your flywheel/flexplate in the process...
