steering rack and pinion ?

    I am redoing my front suspension and the person before me did a hack job on the steering rack and pinion , I already got new inner tie rods and steeda bumpster kit and max motorsport alum steering rack bushings, I m wondering if anyone knows the best and cheapest place they seen online that sells a remanufactured steering rack and pinion ? or anyone have a good used one for a 1995 gt ? thank you for any help

    If you are lucky you can find a used 03/04 Cobra rack on craigslist cheap. The newer the rack 2004 being the best down to 94 the worst. I have seen used 2001-04 gt racks sell for under $100 on part out cars. These are much better than what came on our cars and all 94-04 racks are interchangeable.

    I have a stock rack out of my 94 I could sell you but I'd have to find a box to ship it in. Where you located?

    advanced auto parts usually sells the remans pretty cheap too
