I was just curious if anyone has tried to install a later model mustang steering wheel that has the integrated radio controls on it and if they have had any luck with getting them to work,

That's not a bad idea, but I was thinking more along the lines of an 05-16 steering wheel with the radio controls and cruise controls built in. But I will keep that in mind if I can't make the steering wheel work.

it can be done. Most of them are a programable system that you connect to the wire that goes to the remote and then it learns what you want to do when you push that button.

Thanks ttocs, btw, both of my uncles were born in Evansville a long time ago. I found a steering wheel on ebay for pretty cheap and was just pondering the idea and knew this was the right place to go for the information that I was seeking.
