stereo making loud pop when starting car

could be one or both really its hard to tell unless you disconnect one at a time to see if its only one set of speakers or all 4.

The deck doesn't have power when cranking, so the remote turn on is off so there for the amps are not on while cranking either. Not sure cutting the constant will fix much.

you would have to run your own switched wire to get the deck to stay on while cranking. There are actually two types of ignition wires. A general ignition wire is defined as a wire that has no power with the key off and 12v with it on. A TRUE ignition will do that, and also has power WHILE its cranking where a regular ignition may not have power while cranking. The stock ignition wire it not a true ignition, has now power while cranking.
