stock manifolds are pretty decent but of course you will gain power. You will gain even more than the avg stang with your kb.

:rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: :rollinglaugh: run a car with stock ones and then put long tubes on and run it again on the same dyno :)

remember though, long tubes react A LOT differently on 4.6s then they do on the 5.0s. im not saying there wont be gains on a 5.0, just that wont be anywhere near the gains on the 4.6

All the dyno chrats I have seen in the mags with a header test always gains at least 7rwhp even on a stock 5.0 and with KBGT's car being blown his gains would be a hell of a lot more than that .

the stock headers are better than normal cars' stock manifolds, but the primaries are pinched at the head and aftermarket shortys and epecially longtubes will move much more air.

as was already said, your performance will be magnified because of the blower

First, they're not technically "headers." I'd call them tubular manifolds....better yet...just call them crap. Take one look at the differences between the stockers and even the CHEAPEST headers, you'll see why your local muffler shop is full of crap.
