Realistically you're not going to be able to run as much boost with PI heads anyway due to the compression jump, that is the limiting factor in this particular scenario.

if your going to build the bottom end get some porting done to the heads as well, if you are not going to build your motor up don't even mess with your stock heads, just do the cams/intake and blower

Put 18cc dished pistons in. Then your compression will be about 9. With forged rods, crank, bolts. Then boost the livin crap outa it

will 18cc dished pistons make more noise than normal pistons??
The thing is i wanna do a pi swap, supercharger, shortblock but
i want to use the car as a daily driver too.

Pistons don't make noise unless they are broken. The car would drive like a stocker till you hit boost.

I wouldnt worry about the engine block as much as I would the internals. Your pistons and connecting rods are good until 450 hp, and i think the block is good until around 700hp.

That 450hp safe on internals has been debated many times LOL. If you can, to be on the real safe side, forged rotating assembly is the way to go. I broke my stocker with 425hp. But it was raced hard every weekend. Im forged now though :dancing6:

I'm forged and only have 500 rwhp, but my stocker lived at 450. It just depends, consider a high HP stock bottom end car a time bomb.

the block itself is good for 1000+, the only way you are really gonna mess up a block is by sending a rod through it.

The iron block in the gt is only 700, the cobra aluminum block is the one rated to 1000+.

GT block is the same cast iron block as used in the 03-04 Cobras, it's good to over 1000 IF you upgrade the internals which includes forged internals, ARP studs, ideally a girdle, etc.

The Teksid aluminum block has proven itself to handle large amounts of power, the later aluminum blocks were cast in the Windsor plant by Ford and aren't quite as strong.
