I got the belt on for the Vortech but the tensioner pulley does not line up flush on the belt. Is this correct? I'm thinking it might slip off?

I'm thinking I need a smaller spacer behind the tensioner pulley? Is your spacer about the same size as mine?

no mine has about the same spacer there but it looks like I have a spacer on my supercharger pulley to even it out.

After looking at yours, I think the supercharger pulley on mine is backwards?

looks like the spacer is on the wrong side. Mine still has the stock pulley on as you can tell by the plastic piece in the end so yea swap those and see what ya get.

More importantly, how does the supercharger pulley line up with the lower pulley? Make certain they are parallel, and then worry about positioning the tensioner.

Great advice above. Use a straight edge, or a laser alignment tool and make sure your blower pulley is inline with your lower crank pulley. Remember, everything must be aligned with your crank pulley.

So, the supercharger pulley was on backwards. I flipped it over and everything lines up perfect with the belt. Next is tightening the belt, How do I put tension on the tensioner to tighten the belt? It seems pretty hard to push on the tensioner with one hand and tightening it at the same time. How much tension does the belt need?

Insert a 1/2 drive torque wrench in the square hole on the tension, pull it to 100ft/lbs and tighten the bolt.

I then check the bottom section of the belt and make certain I cannot twist it more than 90 degrees.

I think the tensioner might be on backwards as with it not tightened down you still missing one of the mounting holes behind it.

I always put the bolt that that goes behind the tensioner pulley in first and finger tight. Next finger tighten the lower passenger side bolt, then start the upper bolt. Use an extension and a breaker bar/ torque wrench and while holding the tension tighten the top bolt. This usually will hold the tension while you get a wrench on the other two bolts

right there is supposed to be one mounted above it in the empty hole that sits above the bracket now. There is another slot hidden by the tensioner that is supposed to go with that hole

I torqued the tensioner to 100 ft lbs and tightened the 3 bolts on the tensioner. Is there a torque spec for the tensioner bolts?

I have the 94-95 instructions saved on my laptop, and it doesnt give a torque value. Dont over do it, thats for sure. The previous owner of my car did, thats why i now have a helicoil in the top tensioner bolt hole. The bolts thread into soft aluminum. Here are the instructions that I uploaded to my google drive acct. https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B2xLL_9vCnqtT2lhU2I0SmlBVXc/view?usp=sharing
