So I got some 94 leather seats for dirt cheap. The complete set. I was wondering if they would fit directly in or with minimal modification to my 04 mustang. So the seat belt mounts is a big thing I’m concerned about. Would I be able to swap the ones I have on my old seats onto the 94 seats? I know 94 mustangs had the belts mounted to the floor. Also for the power seat would the connection just plug right in? And finally I’m wondering if the rear seats would go in easy as well. I’ve been looking everywhere for any info on this but I can’t find anything and just want to know before I start pulling everything out. Thank you

the power harness will probably be different but they are nicer seats than after they went through cost cutting.

Is it possible just to swap the new seat onto the old track or would that not work?

The seats will bolt in with no issue with either sets of tracks.

The only for sure difference is in the electrical connectors on power seat tracks. I am a bit fuzzy on the details but I also think the seat belt latches are different between the 2. It’s been like 15 years since I put a set of 01 Cobra seats in my old white car.

In other cars where I’ve swapped stuff around, I’ve generally swapped most of the power seat tracks for the manual ones since most were toast at this point.

is the power side on you car currently working? If so I think you can just put the new seat on the old track and then the harness will not be a problem
