I think it's going to be a matter of time (when it does break) before something goes bad with my T-5!!! What is the next step up in upgrading our manual transmissions? Upgrade kit or another transmission?

Why not just keep a T5?

There are companies out there that upgrade them to handle more power like g-force if you make a ton of power. But the standard T5 can handle plenty if you know how to shift.

I thought they peaked at 300 ft/lbs plus all the stories you hear about them... I hear their weak point is 2nd to 3rd. Summit has an up grade kit is that any good?

I recommend a RAM HDX clutch kit. Love it in my 95, with the T5. Strong clutch, rated for 450 hp at the flywheel IIRC. Oem ford cable, oem ford throwout and pilot bearings.

I have a brand new Exedy mach 400 stage two clutch with 3.73 gears. It's my new tires ET street MT 275/60R15's that I'm worried about when I try it out at the track next week.

Depends on what you're doing with it. Drag racing? Road racing? Just street? Should survive fine on the street. As said above, knowing how to shift is a big part of keeping them alive.
