I’ve got my t5 out for a rebuild and I cannot get the needle bearings to all seat in the input shaft. The last bearing is tight and will not fall in place.

It’s pictured here at the 6 o’clock position. No idea what I’m doing wrong. All new needle bearings.

Any ideas?

I'm glad you figured it out!
I will add that on a couple of occasions over the years I HAVE ENCOUNTERED a new, aftermarket input shaft that for real, there was no way to get all of those needle bearings inserted. These had to be returned and exchanged. People goof up occasionally!

I was starting to think I’d crushed the shaft on the press or something but I was just inserting the last needle incorrectly.
