Pretty straight forward other than I have a ?

The main line with that feeds the fuel rail right where it connects to the fuel line by the fire wall to the metal OEM line. With teds line with the blue insert how hard to do push that down I pushed it on pretty hard but went to hook up battery and it was leaking fuel .

I don't want to snap that plastic blue clip that goes Inside it but how far do you push this thing on there is two lips first lip and then the 2nd lip .

Sorry if this is a stupid ? But I don't want to breake it but it obviously has to be pushed on further than it is.i can grab the line and it won't pull off but it's definitely leaking at the feed into his line .
Thanks

My ? Is do I push the blue plastic over the first metal o ring if the truck line so the hole blue thing is over it .
Right now it stops at the top of that and then it leaks it's the only way I can think of but I don't want to break that blue plastic thing .

Thanks.

Hey!
I did this mod last year but didn’t have any issues with this part. Is this the piece that is secured with the little metal c clip? I know I watched two YouTube videos on the install and they were somewhat helpful. Also, I had to reach out to him on FB messenger and he was super helpful

No it's the other line with the blue insert.
Did you use any inserts from your old fuel lines ?
It's just loose if you push it down and fuel pops out the bottom.

No I didn’t reuse any of the old pieces. A lot of mine were old and brittle too. His lines popped right on the fender well side. I say reach out to him and see if he can remedy something

Last ? How hard did you push that one on like I pushed it down a bit but not super hard that's all I can think of.

It snapped right in for me. The only one I had trouble with was due to the c clip and tight space. But that one with the blue clip snapped right in.

IIRC you put the plastic clip below the nipple and then push the line down over the line/nipple and over the clip to lock it in place? I didn't want to comment as it has been a while since I looked at mine and I could be wrong.

Are you talking about the return line?

I had the same problem and when I asked about it everyone else seemed to respond as though theirs just went together perfectly and I was the one doing something wrong. This ended up being the 100% solution for me.

if the clip is in the fitting when you try to put it on, it will not fit and if you tried and pushed hard enough you might have done some damage. But slide the clip down over the line, then push the fitting down and the clip should snap into place and lock it in

Thanks for the tips and tricks I believe it's just not me pushing it over the hump first .
I will try that and hopefully it's smooth sailing.
