The car is going to be magnetic (2015+ Mustang dark grey) and the engine is going to have a mix of Ford blue wrinkle and semigloss black parts

YES one of my favorite colors on the s550 platform, ive considered painting my car that color, but im gonna go with carbon black which is a dark blackish blue color with metallic blue flakes in the paint

I figure I'm overdue an update on this thread... More parts have been coming in. I found a killer deal on a brand new clutch, flywheel, 26 spline input shaft and 60b injectors. I wound up with an extra flywheel now, anyone looking for one?

Ive been on leave for the last two weeks but that hasn't stopped all progress. I found two 18x10 FR500's with like new tires while up here in MA so I was able to pick those up for $400. The big project I've been trying to tackle while here is some powder coating. My grandfather-in-law has a small eastwood set up so I did all my brackets for my engine so far. I have my valve covers to do still but we're trying to find a cheap stove that is 24 inches wide because he currently uses an old apartment size stove so the huge 4V covers don't come close to fitting.

Check craigslist. A lot of people just throw out old ones when they upgrade!

I ended up finding a place to coat and bake my remaining parts for a fair price since they're already prepped and I have to powder. Should have those done next week so I can get the motor sealed back up. Haven't been able to get much else done since I just got around to ordering some of the parts and tools that are holding up progress.

I've really been thinking a lot about the exterior and I can't make up my mind. Thankfully Im a ways away from paint so I can decide later. Side exit exhaust is almost becoming a definite. I've been contemplating a front splitter and rear diffuser. Probably mostly for looks though. I want to try to mould a 13-14 GT500 lower grill in my cobra bumper to get more air to my heat exchanger.. thoughts?

In other fun news, I picked up this 1965 F100 for my dad as his next project. Only bummer was uhaul didn't hook up the trailer all the way so it popped off while loading and screwed up my tailgate. Thankfully their insurance is covering it.

The engine is all back together with all new seals and gaskets. I have some small things to button up and then to swap out the transmission input shaft before this thing goes in its new home. Hopefully that will be the weekend of the 24/25.. but for now here is some engine porn

I may upgrade the blower in a couple years but for now its not in the plans or budget. I should be sitting close to the 500h/p mark on this set up which is good for now.

I ordered my transmission crossmember to the T-56 and a battery relocation kit. It feels odd to have such a short list of things left to get.

And some of you may be excited for this as well. I have a trade set up for an IRS and Borla Exhaust for my built solid axle and magna flows so it will be a full Terminator swap after all! The IRS has a full bushing kit and h&r springs. Should be picking it up this coming monday!

I got my IRS today! Not without the expense of poisoning my body with too many Monsters and fast food during my 18 Hour round trip for the trade that started at 12:30AM on no sleep. The trip went without incident and I officially have an IRS to go in the car and some Borla Stingers! Ill post some pictures up tomorrow when its all cleaned up

It did but because of where the damage from the accident was it looked highly possible that the IRS frame got bent so I had parted what I knew was good on that one out.
