Thanks guy I have no idea, I never saw her vehicle coming. My girlfriend was in the passenger seat and said she saw her crossing lanes but didn't think she would continue coming across all 4 lanes, I didn't see her until she clipped my front end, just before the impact I hit the brakes in attempt to avoid colliding with her.
The moment of impact the hood flew up and hit the windshield, my girlfriend and I both blacked out however I managed to keep my foot on the brake and steer the car off onto the shoulder, I remember hitting the air bag and the driver door flying open then the car coming to a stop. I looked over at my girlfriend to make sure she was okay, I got out of the car and pulled her out from the driver side and sat her down against the barrier. We are okay but in quite a bit of pain, she was treated for blunt force trauma and lacerations, I sustained sever lower back pain and burns on my arm from the air bag.
Had 4 people stop and run to help us including an off duty officer. Accident happened at 4:15pm and were released from the hospital around 10:30pm
