I've had these heads for around 5 years+. They sat in the boxes for about four years. What I should have said is "At the time Ford...". Hindsight being 20/20, I would not have bought these. I'm going to take the car back to SPD to have the headers redone almost completely. There's only about 1/8" clearance to the front sub-frame on the passenger side. I bought some thin high temperature insulation to put on the frame and some header wrap. Lava rock header wrap. First I had ever heard of it.
Not only does that exhaust flange stick out farther, but my accessories all moved as well. TF seems to think they can move stuff around at will. I do like their single plane EFI intake, but it appears the thermostat housing location has changed slightly. Thankfully that's not an issue.

Unfortunately Ford doesn't make a head that performs anywhere near what these TFS heads do. .

What I should have said is "At the time Ford didn't...".
I also needed the Sportsman (N351) exhaust bolt pattern to get a 1-7/8" header tube on without crimping it.
