its not that we do not want to share but I have only had it on the dyno once and that was 8 yrs ago and I have no idea where it went to after the move back to the Midwest myself. I have not decided yet if I am going to the dyno or to go the megasquirt to tune myself. There are more people going that rout as well as by just data logging while driving and having a tune written off of that. Most of us do not want to pay the price for the dyno if we didn't have to and its only really done when a large enough change was made that it needs it. I think there is also a good number of us that really do not care what the dyno numbers are as long as it is running good we could care less what the numbers are.

From last Thursday but no sheet to share more issues. It did make like 350ish at 4500 rpm though.

Why,, because you have to pay more for parts to gain just as much and possibly less? $4k for a 6-8 lb of boost blower is awful steep.

That's all I have to say about that.

That is true but then remember all the obd2 tuners you saw for new and how many you find sold used. each has its good/bad points.

slightly more than 4k but 450whp isn't uncommon on a 4v

96+ cobra,03-04 Mach, marauder and a couple Others have the 4v. Mod motors are expensive to mod but worth it IMO. I'll contribute soon to the dyno #'s. I'm shopping for cobra cams and LT's. Should be around 330whp

What do you drive? What other mods do you have? Would the cams and LT's the big ticket items purchased thus far? Holycrapo! For kicks I looked on AmericaMuscle to see what cams were running. Nearly $1,300!? That's crazy! As far as the "worth it" goes modding" a 4.6 vs the 302, I guess it depends on if the 4.6 is a 2v or 4v. The 2v has just as much "ground to cover" in stock trim as the 302 as far as being relevant in the power department these days but it's a lot cheaper to make 300whp in the 302.
To make 300 rwhp with the 302 mustang it takes in the ballpark of $3k.
If you're telling me that a 4v w a cam swap and long tubes makes around 330 rwhp then that just might be the bang for buck winner of the day.
However the last time I was at the tune shop I saw an old ass worn out fox that was stock except for mufflers make 300 whp on the nose with a used 6-8 lb Vortech kit. This thing was so stock that they had to change the plugs and wires to get a good pull.

Im glad you guys like spending that amount of cash on performance.
That's probably around $5k spent (new parts not used) and he gained around 270 extra rwhp. You gotta remember the poor pushrod guy is only starting with 200 whp or less. But then again so is the '96 GT, throw $5k at it and see how far it'll get ya. I subscribe to mm&ff and I often have to roll my eyes at them. One issue then cover story was "Make 632 Hp The Easy Way!" Well they started with a car with a 400 horse motor and added a $6k blower.
