Hey everybody, got a 98 GT and Im wanting to go with the fat n skinnies look. If anybodys got pics and info (backspacing, prices, tire sizes). Also whats the deal with coil over's? Dont know anything about it. Has anybody actually tubbed out the rear wheel wells? THANKS

No offense but if I had a 98 GT with a shifter, gears, and a cold air intake...the Pro Street look is the last thing I would go after.

you dont run those all the time do you, i heard running the skinnies up front for DD is bad....

what part of Central florida are you from, I live in Orlando.

no i have polished 04 gt wheels I run. I just put them on to see how it looked with it lowered, but i ran skinnies on my old mustang everyday for over 2 years and I have many friends who have as well no problems. the only things you need to be careful of is braking especially in the rain and turning (i turn slow anyway).
I'm just east of you in titusville, i live about east of i95 off of 50.

Hey I appreciate the help pro5ohkid, glad to have someone actually answer the question, btw what brand tires are you using in the pic? Oh and what springs did you use for lowering the car? Are caster/camber plates extremely necesary? Thanks alot buddy

lol @ snakebit

you'd really be doing that if you seen how dirty it is right now.....I have the polished 04 gt wheels on there now and they are very dark grey (brake dust) and they wheels look satin even with the sun hitting them. I'm embarrassed to drive it :(
