tire price

will there be a significant price difference in tires for a set of 18" wheels and tires for a set of 17" wheels?

um alot. thats why i went 17's so i can afford DR's for the rear. if i went 18's id have crap tires.

That is the #1 reason that many people stick with the 17" rims.. If it weren't for the price of tires/great deal i got on my rims, I would have 18" rims in a heartbeat..

I know, imo, 18" looks so much better than 17".. But I am happy with my DD rims for now

Yup 18" tires are a rip-off
I paid $260 for each rear tire. They are 295/35 18s
my fronts are 275/35 18s and cost me about $225 each.

the only reason i would get 17s instead of 18s is if they didnt make the wheels in 18s(10th annis) or if i wanted a wheel that was lightweight to use at the track and to drive daily on.
