We have a pretty big weekly car show about 8 miles from my house. So, I trailered the car down to a nearby parking lot . . . rumbled in . . .and parked amongst the street stangs.

The car drew a crowd of about 30 people as soon as I pulled in and popped the hood. Everyone just swarmed around it all night.

The crowd was equally attentive when I left . .. the only thing louder was the jet car . . . lol

It was a lot of fun. :bunny3:

why would people want to see your car?

Cause it's ugly and slow and has a Briggs & Stratton sticker on the hood scoop. :pimp2:

The best thing about that show is that it's every Saturday. Its amazing that week after week, that many cars show up.

I honestly didn't have time to look at any of the other cars because I was answering so many questions about the race car. Guys were just freakin out over it.

Where's your specs? I'm curious.

And do you have a roll bar for that speed at the track? Do you know what the speed limit is for required roll bars. I just put in my SC last fall and I'm finally getting it Dyno Tuned on March 10th. I'll be running it on April 14th. Wondering what my numbers will be and what the rules are.

Here are the specs . ..

World Man o War 427 block
Mahle Pistons (15:1) compression
Eagle forged rods and crank
Brodix Track One 225 CNC Heads (flow 334 cfm)
Solid Roller cam (approx .750 lift)
Jesel Shaft Rockers
Crank Trigger
Ron's Fuel Flying Toilet alcohol injection
CHI Dominator Tunnel Ram intake
Custom 2 1/8" headers
Art Carr C4 (full manual, reverse pattern with Pro Tree transbrake)
Hughes Converter (5400 stall)
Detroit Locker (with 3.73 gears)
Moser 31 spline axles
Competition Engineering Anti-Roll bar
Maximum Motorsports adjustable LCAs
UPR adjustable UCAs
UPR moly K-Member, A-Arms
UPR Coilovers (14" 175 # springs)

I could type for another 20 minutes or so, but those are the basics.

The car has a 14 point custom cage (check my build thread at the top of the Garage for all the gory details)

If you are in a hardtop, you need a 6 point roll bar to go faster than 11.5. The 6 point will get you to 10.0 . . then you need a cage, chassis cert, and a 9 second license.

If you are in a vert, you need the 6 point at 13.5 . . but everything is the same after that.
