Basically did a 5 speed conversion summer 2014, trannys pretty ****ed up. Can't take any abuse, and 3rd gears gone. Might be able to grab a super low mileage 3650 out of a Mach. Now what else do I need? Obviously a clutch, flywheel, tob, pilot bearing, shifter.. Crossmember the same? I have a stifflers on mine now, hopefully it works with that tranny.

I haven't had problems with my 3650. I like it more than the t45 in my old gt..

I had promotion powertrain build mine. JFYI you wont be able to swap it in to a 5.0 until you have the bellhousing machined off and an adapter plate made. Once thats done you'll need a tko bell housing, Shifter, modified crossmember, new driveshaft, and a few misc pieces. Unless your going to be pushing some hp and having one built dont waist your time the swap isnt cheap.

T56 would probably be easier and cheaper by the time it's all said and done.

The run of the mill stock t56 swap yes a built one no. Dont know the Op's power level but unless hes looking at 600+ both are overkill.

I was just simply pointing out its the easier and cheaper swap.

He hasn't mentioned anything about a 1,200hp beast so I didn't figure it's anything crazy. Lol
