Is it possible to swap a tr3650 tranny in a 95 gt they do t56 swaps so it should be the same thing right?

Im in the middle of a built 3650 swap and its not a direct swap. you need an adapter plate, modified cross member and custom shifter. along with custom driveshaft. If your looking to have one done look to Walt at pro motion powertrain.

I thought it would be a little bit less of a hassle the mustang is my daily so I think just rebuilding my to or swapping it out for another t5 maybe a wc would be the smarter move mean while the tr3650 can just continue sitting in my garage for time being. Thanks for the info.

the t5 and t56 have removable bell housings whereas the 3650 doesn't.

True but the new upcoming thing to do is they machine the bell off and then you run an adapter p[late to fit a 5.0 bell. This will be the wave of the future trust me.

What would be the advantage to running the 3650 over t-5. I'm sure machineing the bellhousing off can't be cheap so there would need to be a big + to justify it.

They can be built to handle 1000hp, i have a promotion built set up going in my car lol
