track heat intake

    will a track heat intake be too much for a bolt on 5.0???? i know a guy who is selling one cheap and want to know if its too big????

    i was told it was and went with the street heat. u can always swap the upper. thats what im doing.

    in mm&ff they used it on a fairly stock car (just bolt-ons) and was fine

    the street heat intake has a powerband of idle to 5500 rpm where the track heat has a powerband of 1500 to 6500rpm. if you had a power adder the track heat would be great, but for a everyday 302 with a few boltons the street heat is the way to go. I run the street heat on my fox and noticed a huge difference over my gt40 i previously had.

    My buddy just put a track heat on his car and it just has simple bolt ons and it made a huge difference.

    looking good!!!!! its going on the slobra???? gotta give wilfred competition u know!!!!!!! its too much intake for my car, hey do u want some roller rockers to match :naughty:

    yeah its going on the cobra. its still not gonna be no were near him. i drove his car the other day, holy shit that cars got some balls. i was pist cause after that i drove my car and it felt like a honda :nonono: . the only way to get to his power range is the intake and more boost. but than my motor will blow to smitherines.
