Trailer hitch for a GT?

The Curt website states their hitch won’t fit a GT with its dual exhaust, but there are pics of this exact hitch on GT’s on other websites. Has anyone put one of these on their GT?

I know of several foxes ive seen w class 1 hitches. it would be very odd nowadays, but it can be done.

Looks just like the one on my Cobra. I'm not sure on the brand, it was on the car when I got it. No issues with the stock exhaust or the Magnaflow that's on there now.

Look for Drawtite, pn 24687, etrailer.com lists it for V6 and V8 models. It's the one I have on my 95, although I'm running dumps at the moment, there's a good chance I'll want to put tailpipes back on someday. Oh, and the Drawtite and Curt look exactly the same in the pictures, what. Also, remember, that although the hitch is rated at 2000 load, 200 tongue, our cars are only good for 1000,100.
