Hi I'm planning on buy a manual transmission and all the related parts for manual swap for my 94 GT and guy sent me a picture of what he thinks is a output seal. He also thinks it's an Tremec instead of a T5 but I don't know for sure by the casting number on the tail case. Wondering if someone can verify whether or not its an Tremec or T5 and if its just the ouput seal? Thanks in advance!

There are other numbers on the side of the transmission, plus a tag that should still be there too.

That's the only photo's he sent I did find some posts online from different forums with pictures of the transmission itself with the same casting numbers I'm going to see if the guy can send more pictures of the transmission tomorrow. I'm wanting to verify beforehand if I can so I can hopefully get all the parts I'll need at the same time.

Thanks I had found that as well I was hoping that someone like you or other members on here who know these car's in an out and every little thing about them could help me figure out what parts I might need to fix the one in the pictures that's the main reason for wanting to identify it.

And that thing would have the 0.63 5th gear in it too. Sorry can't help with what you're describing but it doesn't sound too promising.
