trick flow heads cam issue

I gotta guy trying his best to squeeze a coyote down in his 96 cobra on the cheap. He is claiming $4000tops. I dont see how, but younever know. Ill keep you posted.

But if we factor labor in (we on a dang mustang forum were we all help each other.......do the labor yourself....ask questions when needed)

I only factored in labor because it was used to inflate the cost of trick flow heads and cams as an option.

I paid $2050 for my track heat heads with upgraded 150# springs to my door and Cushman can get you in a set of cams for @$500. I am using a set I bought from him a few years back that he charged $414.

In real world dollars you could get trick flow heads/cam and install them yourself for under $3k including the dyno time.

Fot the OP his existing cams are fine to use so take that $500 off, if this is a route to go down for him.

We would all love a coyote swap but I can't see the avg Joe getting it done for under $5k.
